Jeep YJ Rear Ford 8.8 Differential Swap
Here is a very unhealthy Dana 35. The left rear wheel bearing came apart and was the final straw for the owner! |
The 8.8 cleaned up with all the ford brackets removed. Sitting on some new spring perches waiting for the pinion angle to be set up. |
Got the new yoke on the driveshaft to bolt up to the Ford 8.8. Just put the U-bolts on and set it on the ground to set the angles. |
Installed some new e-brake shoes, pads, rotors, calipers and brake hoses/lines. |
Shock mounts were re-used from the old differential. |
The e-brake adjuster was lengthened to accommodate the ford e-brake cables. A spacer was also required for one of the cables as it was longer than the other side. |
